So on my iPod, I tend to get on my R&B mode every now and then.
With that being the case, I have more than a few songs from the "Still Ghetto" album by Jaheim on the playlist.
Which leads me to ask...where did dude disappear to?
I know, I know, you can't evade the gay rumors, but hell...
Johnny Gill and Tevin Campbell didn't get blackballed, right?
Plus they're pretty much confirmed gay...Jaheim's shit was mere rumor.
So what was it?
Label drama? Lack of sales? Lack of inspiration? Lack of eye, a la Houston?
I don't know.
But I truly feel like the R&B game could use Jaheim in it.
I'm really not diggin' most of these new cats out nowadays.
You can literally hear the tweeks of Autotune under their voices, and that's only if it's not being fully utilized anyway.
"Put That Woman First" > "Birthday Sex"
I'm just sayin' though...

I totally agree with you! He was one of the last male stomach singers before all of this high pitched whining men are doing these days. Let's bring him back. . . or at least find a suitable clone!
Back in the days, there were Ginuwine, Dru Hill, Chico Debarge, Case, Tyrese (when he first came out), Joe etc. I saw the south coming when I first heard "White Tees"
Music been wack since 01. I can see a lot of people trying to save it but it's being over powered by the young generation giving these southern and mid west artist attention. Boosting their record sales and concert sell outs.
I dont listen to the radio anymore, I depend on itunes, my CD's and youtube to entertain me with that good old school classic shit.
