Hate, Hate, Hate...

HATE.
It's a word thrown around so loosely. From rappers to athletes to the average youth. Negative opinion? Nah, that died in the '90s, joe. If you disagree, you HATIN'. In all honesty...I chalk that up to sensitivity being at an all-time high. Bammas can NOT handle constructive criticism. Hell, they can't handle the opinion of anyone that's NOT sucking their dick (metaphorically speaking). Look at me...I'm a young talented MC. I'm not signed. I'm not "famous". But I'm respected and loved. Has every opinion on the music I received been positive? Not at all. But it damn sure wasn't hating, at least not in my eyes. I was raised to handle the criticism, because that's all it is...criticism. I've sat back and analyzed people and realized something...the people that seem to throw the word "hating" around so often...they're usually wack people. Really, it's the truth. Wack rappers. Wack actors. Wack athletes. Wack PEOPLE. Lames. So I just think that it's a cop-out for the wack in the end of it all. You can't tell me that you're a rapper, when you're not on-beat, it sounds like the beat was made by a xylophone, and your punchlines are worse than Bow Wow's, and when I tell you of this, I'm "hating". Get the fuck out of here. Or if you went from Coogi to skin-tight jeans and SBs in a week after seeing Wale do it and I call you out on that, I'm "hating". Again, get the fuck out of here. If you're going to lie to anyone, don't lie to yourself, that's all I ask. Because the public WON'T lie to you, and using the "hating" card is getting old fast. Man up. Bong!
